The BioSciAlliance is a web site that provides, for participating societies, access to all the relevant membership systems and their associated modules, such as conference abstracts, registration and personal profiles.

The BioSciAlliance offers

For members

• The convenience of being able to renew all memberships and member-rate journals using one credit card payment
• The facility to apply for other memberships online, where the society allows this
• The facility to search broadly for collaborators and other contacts
• The facility to access all BioSci abstract and registration systems, with alerting when they open
• The facility to update a single membership record (eg for address changes), and to view and maintain all societies’ membership attributes (eg interests) using a single interface
• The facility to see all abstracts submitted via BioSci and to email links to one or more of them to colleagues
• The facility to track CPD for conferences handled by BioSci
• The facility to select how much of the record is visible to other societies’ members and/or the public, eg interests, abstract details

BioScientifica manages conference services for the Society for Endocrinology, British Fertility Society, Cancer and Bone Society, British Oncological Society and Ipsen Pharmaceuticals. We provide a full online abstract publishing service for several clients. The events we manage range from advisory boards major international congresses. We act as the standing office for five learned societies, offering full membership services, enquiry handling, committee meeting management, production of newsletters and advice regarding governance and other procedural matters. BioScientifica handles the external relations for the Society for Endocrinology and the British Fertility Society.

• the publishing of journal supplements from satellite symposia, such as the International Symposia on Paediatric Endocrinology supplement to European Journal of Endocrinology

Our in-house website management service has created and maintains more than ten websites for societies and other organisations.
